I really want to know how to add parts to models and make my own models. I have started making skins which doesn't seem too difficult but I wish to make them more realistis looking and I need to add some stuff that will come off the existing models body and not just be flat on the skin. Ex. like the backpacks on the existing paratrooper models, its 3d, I want to make some parts like that, so I can put a skin on it to make the things i'm trying to do with the models look more realistic. Also I would like to know how to make models by themselves, and create new skins. Modding skins isn't hard because you just change where the existing skin is located in the picture file. But how do you make your own skins from scratch? I appreciate any help someone can give me, i've heard there are programs for this stuff...[/code]

buy programs called milkshape 3d, lightray 3d, or 3ds max. i think thats it. i wish i could find a free one but there isnt one... just take a look at those and lightray is supposed to be the best.
