umm, uninstall everything except windwos, uninstall dirvers, etc etc... then defrag over like 3 times... but if you take that kind of time you might as well format. ....

Try these

Driver Cleaner 2

Ace Utilities - cleans out all your useless registry files, has other options such as scanning for empty folder, duplicate folder and more, and all the shit you delete and empty your recylcing bin doesnt really delete it.. with Ace Utilities and scans that and deletes all that shit

those should help

also if you have Norton AntiVirus.. One Button Check-Up Helps aswell and if u right click your C Drive and go to properties and select "disk clean up" it will scan all your useless internet shit and you can rid it if you'd like

also scanning using Ad-Aware wouldnt hurt either

these are just some of things I do at teh end of every week so my comp wont build up with useless gunk and keeps my PC fresh and Tidy

If you have an extra harddist on your PC you can transfer any files you dont want deleted into there. And then reformat Drive C.

Always have two HD's. One at least 40gigs and another 40-120 gig. Smaller is always your OS.

And nowadays it takes less than 30 minutes to install Windows XP. Cmon. Its less hassle than picking and choosing what to keep/delete when all your important files are all on one HD.

My Computer:

Inside HD #2

Easy organization. It gets even MORE anal inside the folders.
