As some you know, I talked about buying an asus GTS some time ago. I bought it 2 days ago, had time to set it up and play with it: I can tell you now - it OWNS J00 !

riesep, I *still* recommend you buy a GTS.
Here's an interesting bit for you overclockers: the Geforce2 ULTRA is simply a GTS overclocked to the MAX with a bigger FAN on it.. that's all..

There are other things I wanted to buy soon, namely :

Thunderbird 1.2 overclocked to 1.4 (with good ventilation, shouldn't be a problem.)

Speakers w/ Subwoofer --> Altec Lansing ACS48

256megs of pc133 ram

DVD drive

Asus TV-BOX

ANYONE KNOW WHICH MOTHERBOARD WOULD BE MOST APPROPRIATE FOR THAT 1.2ghz PROCESSOR ? I'M STUMPED WHEN IT COMES TO THOSE..

I need a good motherboard (FSB266) for the 1.2ghz and a good CASE w/ 300watts power supply.

1- Which mobo is best ?
2- Which case would be best and not too costly, providing good ventilation throughout ?

Thanks guys. I LOVE YOU !

klipsch promedia 4.1 is 525$ canadian or so: way too costly.. the speakers and subwoofer I am getting for 147$ (with tax) will be sufficient

As long as I feel the explosions, and I will, I'll be happy.

I still need help choosing a motherboard !

Solidus, I heavily recommend you buy the MSI K7T266Pro R Motherboard. this baby overclocks very easily, and you can either use DDR RAM or SDRAM, whichever floats your boat. Make sure you get the Pro R though, as the Pro version, I'm lead to believe doesnt allow the use of SDRAM, it's specificly made for DDR RAM. For a case I think you should get a LianLi PC-60 or a Aopen HX08, both are great cases, sturdy as hell, good ventilation and both have 300watts power. Hope this helps....

Solidus, Im not about to spend $250 bucks for a videocard...

Im going for the Geforce 2 MX 64 megs..
Hell, it only cost me $125 and its good enough for awhile and when the time comes to upgrade..

By that time the geforce 3 will be down a couple hundred bucks...
