A recent confession from a Bush supporter. His change in views.
[quote:d9d39]-a week ago as i was walking down canal street i tripped over a poor helpless old man... and thats when it suddenly clicked to me... that he shouldn't be in that position... he shouldn't have to be alone without money, without support, without a place he can call home... why doesnt he have what i have?...
-then, oddly enough, when i got home i began to have reoccurrences of the debates ive had with people who i considered to be radical and delusional in their approach to politics... i considered them to be wackos who have been brain washed by rendering themselves to selected information (that only told their side of the story) and bias articles
(that attacked bush)... but now i reviewed the facts and i must say that they made key points that i simply overlooked...
-thus, i have concluded that the current administration over exaggerated the "war on terror" so that the government can get more power to do whatever the hell it wants... that the atrocities, of 911, were allowed to happen even though they could have been avoided in advance… I also believe that the government was an accomplice during the carnage of 911…why? so people would be living in fear... with fear and paranoia, people will give up their rights for safety... more of our rights given up means more power for the government... and more power for the government means easier access to their hidden agendas (such as black gold in iraq)...
-in a nutshell, look what we got from the current administration in 4 years... the economy is in shambles, everyone hates us, people are dieng, the national debt is rising, and there is nothing good coming along with this mayhem except for Bush and his penny pinching buddies...
-anyway... to make it short... i think ive been too hard on the people who are anti-Bush... such as PassItOn, kegbegger, kahn… and others…
-as a result… in this up and coming election i will be voting for Kerry...
P.S.
i still dont like Michael Moore... but i think i took a big and honest step forward[/quote:d9d39]
I recently found this at the d12 world forum. The guy figured something out. As I hope a lot of members here one day might as well. even though it is a forum for d12 there is a lot of political talk their. Some great threads as well.
what are your thoughts on what this guy has said ?

Well good for him.
Too bad the economy ISNT in shambles, the debt ISNT doing anything it hasnt done under every fucking president (you realize we have had and will always have a debt), and whether you believe soldiers are dying for nothing entirely depends on your world view.
I'd like to see his "research" though. The kind of stuff you have chosen to stay away from Short.

I always laugh about how people say our government did nothing to stop 911 because they wanted to gain power. rolleyes: . [sarcasm]I'm happy this dude started to think because he tripped over some homeless guy[/sarcasm]. Tell him to go to every damn country in the world and then he'll want to support the party that isn't in power since the current body isn't doing anything to stop it.
