Feck if I know.. that was just the base system. And I've never worried about a cooling system prior, so any cooling system is probably better than I would've chosen - which would be none at all.

Also, I looked for an upgrade to the FX5900 and there wasn't one available.

I definitely don't have the time to build a computer, let alone the knowledge, or the time to acquire the knowledge.

As far as I've ever seen, for a computer being built by a company, this is pretty good.

yea, it is good for being built by a company.

not to mention it took him weeks to get it working because his old hard drive had a major problem with the new comp. (he used his old hard drive and monitor, cuts the cost). the actual building of the comp took one night, the troubleshooting of the hard drive problem took him about a week to figure out. but now that he get it runnings its a fucking monster.

Not real sure, but like i've said in other threads, I'm not a real performance freak. I just want a computer that gets it done.

1- Get rid of the 5.1 and purchase an Audigy2.

2- Get rid of the Modem. I won't discuss this. Do it young man!

Otherwise, it looks nice. I'm surprised at your choice of cpu though. AMD is
the way to go unless you have serious number crunching to do...
