Gif. Im trying to save one, and when i save the drop shadow / embossing ive done turns to white. So, it appears that the image is stroked in white. Any ideas?

toning + gif= hard (to look good).

bevel, shadow, all that good stuff doesn't really turn up in gifs, and look good.

its not for a sig of anything :| its for a web page. ive got a looping background image that goes for 100% the width of the browser. the header i originally had was only for 800 pixels (with the image im trying to make trans). so, i want to take that layer from the original header and lay it on top of the looped background (repeating wtf ever). ive tried cutting from the heading since thats where im getting the background from but since the background is not static the image doesnt line up sometimes.

Well, you can copy the part of the background of the website you will publish this pic, and put it as the back layer of the PSD. That way, you can save as a JPG, and it will look better.
