good sig but the movie sig fad is getting old. (specially when they almost all the look the same - stock image - 3 or less pixel border).
i wouldnt consider requiem for a dream a cult movie either.
cool movies make dudes cool. check out my nine months sig that movies so underground and indie.

a cult movie is a movie liked by only certain groups of people, or a movie that becomes vastly liked when predicted to fail miserably. I know plenty of people who hate the movie, there are groups of people who hate this movie. only a few people can recognize the amazing directing and acting in the movie.

it was an amazing movie in many elements, and i can understand why u would consider it cult but i still think its more of a mainstream movie. cult to me is something that goes against the grain, and requiem did do that to a small extend; but it still had the recognizable actors, the high film budget, advertisements, still seen in the media, etc. id consider cult something more of along the lines of fubar, something that brought originality to the table instead of a mainstream movie tweaked with little differences that gives it a cult feel. either way its a powerful and great movie.
