I believe what they do in cloning is clone the person that is paralyzed or some shit like that and use it's spinal chord shit from the baby and inject in you. Obviously I don't know how they do it, but it's something like that.

i dont give a flying - fuck if they clone or not. it would suck to see someone walking down the street and their clone. oOo: if you meet some one at, per say, the coffee shop and see him again and say "hi do you remember me?" "no, i'm a clone, so probably not." i guess i dont like it more than i do. if you die, God wants you to and it's pointless to have your dog's clone or your son's clone. it's NOT THE SAME PERSON. just a copy.

The clone has to be atleast 9 months younger. And its not like they'd look 100% identical. One might need braces, glasses, one may become fat.

the way i see it is that cloning humans should be illegal....nobody wants 2 of themself...but cloning pets for ppl should be leagal...like say u have a dog that u couldnt live without cause it was ur pet and everything and u loved it and it got hit by a car.u would want it back,so why not get a clone made and have ur little puppy from the little years of its life to when it dies...then get it cloned again so u can have ur pets for the rest of ur life

You act like a person walks into a mystery machine and comes out double on the other fucking side. Cloning is good.
What if you got into a serious accident and was paralyzed from the neck down, you wouldnt want them to clone your genes, make a baybe and use it's stem cells to possibly make you walk again?

I dont think cloning should be legal for identity issues. If you have an identical clone with the same dna and everything, how are you supposed to identify yourself? That might not seem really important at first, but what about law enforcement? There would be 2 or 3 or 4 of the same people running around at one time, they might even live in the same area. You could be impersonated or in a court case, how can you prove your innocense via DNA testing if you have identical clones around? Also, how can criminals get convicted if they convice a jury with reasonable doubt simply by saying, 'yeah my clone lives a block away and goes to the same school/work, he could have done the crime, not me.' I think it would be a nightmare.

remember, cloning a human only gives them the same DNA. It doesn't make them the same person with the same personality. Your life experiences shape and form your "character" and the two clones can be very different emotionally. Just adding that to the discussion.
I voted no because that's what i believe...it's just one of those stances you can't really explain.
Oh yes, remember what happened to Arnold in Total Recall (cloning pets --> human cloning)

I can see this cloning dealy getting out of control, it would be total chaos.
