Default I need some tips for ripping and burning DVDs - 11-23-2004, 10:33 AM

I just got a new DVD burner. It does dual layer DVDs. Any of you guys have some tips, program suggestions, or links to some good tutorials? I'm doing this for backing up a few that I own..nothing illegal. I'm also going to backup my HL2 that I got off of steam hopefully that will work. Thanks for any help you can give.

use DVD Decrypter to copy it to your harddrive, and then use DVD2one to shrink it, and then burn with what ever burning software you have

I rip and compress an iso image with dvd shrink....then burn the iso with dvd decrypter

ps. dual layer discs are fucking expensive...we just got some in at work and they are 35 bones for 3....internetz price will probably be cheaper
