Default the hell i went threw to get hl2 - 11-26-2004, 08:39 PM
go to best buy pick it up get home, noticed it was opened before, no cd #1. go back to best buy get another 1 it was opened but checked had all the cds. get home invalde cd key. god damn punk kids, it said to send in picture of reciept, cd key and the cd and wait up too 2 weeks for a reply. took it back got a 3rd witch works. i bet best buy puts the bad cd key back on the shelf.

Well, why don't you looks for an unopened box in the first place? That would have saved you a lot of trouble. oOo:

everytime i buy software, i ask the clerk to open the cd's and check to make sure that all software is contained within the package

i bought quake once with no cd's in the jewel case mad: hellfire:

that happened to me with DoD, except it was just a box, nothing in it til i got outside in the parking lot did i realize it.
