do u ever find it hard getting accross the Rd as an ally. keep getting sniped???

well before u go running accross that rd, chuck a gren into thr rd and run just before it explodes, that way it kicks up dust which the sniper can find it very difficult to see through.

ive not been sniped once going accross the rd since doing this! 8)

I thought you were gonna ask how.. I was gonna say 'run yo asss off'..

Good idea, but it's pretty much a given on that map that about 20 of your teammates are gonna throw grenades too, so there's lots of smokey cover usually. Plus I assume you are not talking about running behind the two buildings to the left, in which case you usually get blown up by enemy grenades.

By running across at the 'allied' end of that road you are getting across quicker so not as many snipers have had a chance to setup, usually.

Either way, I think the Allies have the short end of the stick on that map mainly because of their spawn point. But I still love it..

its not for any given time period ive used it 2 minutes into a map, and it works everytime.....

tis just u go and rush the rd i usually find theres about 5 axis nades waiting for me.

i hang back and wait for the early nades to go off then make my way to which ever flank im gonna attack. 8)

Some quick advice on crossing the road:

1) Definitely wait for the first wave of Axis grenades to go off before starting your run

2) Run across the road by mixing up your speed and direction. Run, stop, backup a step or two, then run forward again. It's hard for the Axis snipers to get a lock on you when you do this. If you do this, most of the time all you'll hear is sniper rounds missing their mark....

...unless the Axis sniper is a good one, like me. =)

No dont change direction run in a streight line, because if u do change direction ur likely to step infront of a team m8 and halt his progress accross the rd

Thats why squad members should run behind other members....i HATE it when they do that and I cant escape back. But hey, its not my freaking fault if the guy behind me is following me. I usually do what he said, run, 2 steps back, run while moving right then jump and such. I hear only bullets going by.
