Basically the square button is only around a quarter or so touching the pad that tells the console that you've pressed the button. And sony can't even admit its a flaw oOo:

Nice one sony, first we have ps1 with dodgy cd drives then ps2 with dodgy dvd drives (both probably intentional seeing as it boosted their total of number of units shipped which is all they can talk about). Now we got the psp with a gimped button layout.

Nice to see theyre keeping their business model of shipping flawed consoles, i think most people in the gaming industry would probably shit themselves if sony for once didn't ship a console that was designed to break. oOo:

[quote:359cc]but that's something which users and game software developers will have to adapt to. I didn't want the PSP's LCD screen to become any smaller than this, nor did I want its machine body to become any larger.[/quote:359cc]BS I don't think he wants to admit his own faults. Why the hell would you intentionally make a button stick or become less responsive? oOo: [

[quote:f8cd4]"The button's location is [architectured] on purpose," Kutaragi added. "It's according to specifications. This is something that we've created, and this is our specification. There was a clear purpose to it, and it wasn't a mistake." [/quote:f8cd4]

Clear purpose? Yeah to break hence selling more units BAHAHAHA oOo: oOo: oOo:

i dont think they want the thing to intentionally break. If that was the case sony would be known as an unreliable company(which i dont think they are) and then lose customers.

Who cares if they repair them with daily use the problems just gonna reoccur, its an obvious design flaw that needs to be fixed, but sonys too stubborn to admit its a flaw. Almost 5000 units returned a month after the consoles release? Thats gotta be a record in itself. Wait untill the american and european releases to see that number skyrocket. sleeping:
