I find that there's a fine line between being ready for a fight and provoking a fight.

North Korea
Military manpower - availability: males age 15-49: 6,181,038 (2004 est.)
Military manpower - fit for military service: males age 15-49: 3,694,855 (2004 est.)
South Korea
Military manpower - availability: males age 15-49: 14,233,895 (2004 est.)
Military manpower - fit for military service: males age 15-49: 8,966,241 (2004 est.)
United States of America
Military manpower - availability: males age 15-49: 73,597,731 (2004 est.)
Military manpower - fit for military service: NA (2004 est.) (I am guessing around 37,900,GF1)
"Democrats": 87,831,626 (46,866,741)
"Commies": 6,181,038 (3,694,855)
... and in the worst case scenario, China joins N. Korea: 385,705,726 (211,838,207)
Yeah, I think we got a chance. cool:
Without China- 14:1
With China- 2.5926^12:1
I think that's right. oOo:
(Yes, I know that manpower is not the only factor that should be considered.)

In North Korea...in 1999, 5.05% of the total population of 21,386,000 (or one for every 19 people) was a member of the armed forces...making them have the highest percentage of military personnel in the world.

this blows. think about all the re-called troops. annoy:
but i support our military 100% of the way, i, in the back of my mind, knew that eventually korea would become a major theatre of ops.

This isnt good. North korea shouldnt be underestimated... Does anyone know how powerful their airforce and navy is supposed to be? I know their army is supposed to be well armed and trained, but what of the other two branches... Because in case of a war, if we impose a naval blockade, and then achieve air superiority, then its all over.
