Ya there another virus out. its i think W32.nimda@MM my dad got it last night and it took us a long time to get rid of it It doesnt do that much. It copies itself is all files and takes up memory. ALSO U CAN GET VIRSUES THROUGH AIM AND ICQ AND CHAT THINGS. i dont know how but the comp guy said u could and he had peopel get them. I know its offtopic i just want the "mature" peopel to see it.

Nimbas been around for a while, and although it doesn't do much damage, having it email private or personal documents to anyone on your mailing list could be very damaging. I have a seperate system here with a lot of classified information on it as an example. I certaintly wouldn't want that getting emailed out to the 200+ people on my mailing list.

yea i just got some files and i scanned em and it was nimda - luckily i use as few microsoft products as possible so my Microsoft Outlook is not set up (can't seem to uninstall it) so it took about 3 min. to find and delete the foreign files and that was it.
