Default Help pls - 04-10-2005, 02:29 AM

My system keeps minimizing my games and bringing up the desktop for some reason. i havent done anything in the last week (problem started), so i dont know whats up. anyone have any ideas on what to do? games arent crashing, system just switches to desktop as if i had hit ALT TAB. it happens every 5 mins or so and its really annoying, especially in SW Galaxies.

danke.

Perhaps it's a key combination that's similar to atl tab?

This may be related...may not...

I put in the Windows anti-spyware crap a few months back, and any time the damned thing starts thinking shit minimizes or locks up. If you guys have this crap on your PC, it may be causing the problem.

Also check the processes next time it happens ( Ctrl+Alt+Del..Process tab) You may have someting running in there that is taking priority.

i think i fixed it now. turns out it was probably spyware/adware. i went to the processes tab and found something called adware or adhelper, something like that. i uninstalled that coz it was on my programs list and then ran spybot sd. restarted the pc and played a bit. havent had the problem yet, so thx i think i fixed it.

thanks again for the ideas guys.
+1 to all
