Doesn't it screw up your kidneys if you take creatine for long periods of time?

i know you were kidding, but i'll still say it just to make them feel better.
creatine isnt a steriod, im pretty sure its an ATP precurser, or so i was told, so it just makes it easier for the muscles to produce energy.
Someone correct me if im wrong.

You can probably get away with using it for a few months, but I wouldn't recommend it at all.
The difference in your muscle gain on and off is negligible compared to the price/risk.
Just stick to whey protein supplements.. a much more natural way to improve conversion of body fat to muscle.

quite a few friends from high school took that creatine... once you stop using that shit your muscles shrink... it's all water weight.. it does give you more energy/"power" when working out but it's not worth it. Plus if you don't take it right or do the right cycles it will royally fuck up your insides... I'm sure Solidus knows more about this kind of shit.

The key to creatine is a great diet to supplement it (take it from me biggrin: ),
My recommendations ?
-go threw 20 glasses of water a day.
-eat a good amount of protein, or get a few shakes in.
-never do pure creatine. try a blend such as Weiders creatine ATP mix.(unlike regular creatine, this stuff had to be taken after the workout, which was really weird.)
-Gains ?
-fantastic energy for a workout.
-Good muscle gains when properly used. and easy to sustain.
I was able to put on 10 pounds of pure muscle in 7 weeks with that routine. gains stay, and it is not "water bulged" muscle which will fade away after you are off. Creatine is not harmful, unless exploited over long amounts of time, so it is best if you keep you uses of this product to no more then 16 weeks of the year. Also, creatine is a natural occuring substance, found in any meat that you eat. Creatine powder is just the stuff pure and in a much larger concentration then you could gain from any concentration of meat. Their are no "miracle supplements", but next to steroids, products like Ergomax(recently banned) & Creatine etc are the closest you can get.

Alot of experts are saying creatine only fills your muscles with water so they look bigger.
But yeah if you are going to take it remember to chug as much water as you can and be prepared to piss every hour. I took it for a month and noticed some results, good stuff if you can handle the taste

From the looks of it, you could use some time at the gym.
