It is a good score, going on that MGS 3 fucking owned and got an 8.6 as well.

I like how gamespot gives better reviews than IGN and just doens't give half the games 9.0 or higher.

the graphics only suck on xbox becasue of its obsolete system, on pc they are near doom 3 quality. ill be buying it on friday
