EZ Antivirus works wonders for discovering infected files and such. Although I'm not sure about deleting programs.. freak:

I had a virus problem just yesterday, and it sounds alot like yours. I ran norton, didnt pick up anything on the scan, and most of my spyware programs didnt get it.
I rebooted, let norton start its auto protect, and bingo it picked up about 7 trojans, blocked them all. Then i downloaded a program called spywareguard, it block browser hijackers in realtime, i finally blocked all the programs from fucking with IE, then i ran Hijack this! and deleted anything i didnt recognize, then i installed firefox rolleyes:
Also, there were quite a few things on my add/remove programs list that i couldnt delete, when you tried to uninstall it took you to a webpage, and theres a link on there to download a program to uninstall their spyware, i know it sounds like a trap but it works and i havent picked up anything since then.

Also if it cleans them and it keeps coming back you'll probably need to disable system restore.
