Default How exactly are bf recorder servers meant to work? - 06-24-2005, 10:27 PM

Im assuming i do the following.

1. Filter bf-recorder servers.
2. Join and play.
3. When im done playing disconnect and click the community tab and there should be a bookmark link to dload the demo file.

Has anyone actually been able to do this? Ive tried 4 or 5 tonight that filtered as being bf recorder servers and have yet to get a link to a demo file. oOo: If you try the record demo command it says you can't record as a client. Either the fucktards running the servers have not set it up right or im doing something wrong but by reading various forums im doing exactly what i need to do. eek:

Have you tried it on EA servers?

PS: How do I view my demo files?

Have to move them to this folder

C:\Documents and Settings\gErv\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\Default\demos

The go in game, click community and select the demo and hit load.

It all depends if the admin has a clue what they are doing. They have to setup where to save the files to so that the clients can dl them. If they dont have the paths right then when you click to download the file, errors pop up.

Its a really neat feature but there is no rewind.....Dice said it was too hard to code.
