Well, I ordered my new computer parts off of Newegg today.

[url=http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820223006:4baaf]Rosewill 512MB Ram (PC2700)[/url:4baaf]

Never heard of them. When I built mine I spent about $120 on my 430W PSU from Antec. Didn't want to cheap out.

Again, never heard of them. maybe i'm just out of the loop. I think I spent $400 on 1 gig of kingston hyper x back in sept when I built my comp. Why not get another 512 since its so cheap?

Should have gotten an X800XL. They are like $11 more and faster... and retail. 6800GT is only $16 more than the cheapest X800XL agp.
The PSU looks okay in the strength department. 26A on the 12v rail isn't great, but will probably be enough for your computer. Why Rosewill though?

I don't know why Rosewill, I just tried to get a strong PSU that had many connectors (one for the vid card), and that happened to be it. As for the x800XL, I was thinking about it, but ran out of money (I had 380$ to spend for computer parts).

ps: Don't know much about Rosewill power supplies, but 500W is enough to run a small industrial town, so you should be fine and dandy.

I know it's a x800. But I am hearing many good things about the x700, is it very good for it's price?

No, 6600GT is faster and cheaper/same price.
At that price it's definitely worth it save up a little more and buy a X800XL or 6800GT.

Not sure yet, considering a new motherboard, ram, cpu and an x900xt-pe (r520) when its out, i want the option of crossifre but ive to get a new cpu for that, if i stick with intel its a different socket lga775, mine is socket 478. So i might go amd this time around.
