Sup guys I bought a really cheap Ipod 20gigs for 50.00 UDS It's used,but for 50 bucks I couldn't refuse.
I don't know the where it came from,that's why I don't want put the serial number online to get the new software 3.1.
There's anywhere online I could get it ?

I don't think you need a serial, iTunes is similar to Musicmatch Jukebox, where you could buy music and then make playlists. Then when you're ready, all the program would do is just import the stuff into the iPod, as if it were like a floppy disk/CD-R.
youre fine. apple doesnt do anything about stolen ipods in terms of checking serial numbers and what not. just dont take it in for repair and youre good.
Well i doubt they check it really...but if you buy stolen goods and it is found out you have it even if you got it by legitamite means...you're the one who takes the fall.
I dont think there is another software you need.......i think you can download anything related with the ipod through itunes and you dont need a serial number...

yeah, I think iTunes is all you need (since its the only thing i use for iPod related stuff)
