Was kinda having a wrestle with a squadmate, and I fell on the floor with him on my back and heard something go "Schnap!" in my chest. Awfull fuckin pain for quite a while, then something that felt more like a hefty bruise inside my chest for a day or two. Then after a few days, I could hardly breathe when I woke up, went to the doc and he said "Broken!". Hence, I am told to take it easy and just wait it out (two to six weeks, appearently. oOo: )
That good enough for you, you scottish piece of unspeakable filth? biggrin:

Sounds painful. I've never broken a bone (thank you JC!), but if I had to make a list of bones that I'd least like to break, a rib would be near the top.

I thought I broke a rib once while wresting (drunken) with a friend. The next morning it hurt to breathe and sneezing was SOOOO painful, I had to hold those in for a good 2 weeks before it stopped hurting so much, still dont know if I actually did break it, if I did, it wasnt major sinc eit healed so quickly..

I kinda launched a kick at his groin (instead of shouting "Fuck you, ass wad!"), and he took it pretty bad and launched at me, so I had to try and fend him off. Fell onto the floor with him on my back and... Well, you know the rest.
As a sidenote, this was the first time Ive broken a bone, and I swear, Id rather taken an arm or something instead. annoy:

If any one wants to experience the greatest drinking game, read the following. The game is called Punchface and you find a buddy and you just sock each other in the face ... it seemed like an awesome idea last night, but now my cheek is bruised.

Yeah, Ive seen something similar to that. Two guys (or gals) sit down facing eachother, tie their right hands together and then go at eachother one punch at a time. The first to touch the table with his (or her) forehead looses. The thing is, you are to drinnk something strong (preferably something containg alcohol) before you punch.
