How stupid can one get? The guy probably has 2 years left, and only weeks after becoming a sure-fire Hall of Famer, he goes and does this.

I'm not surprised he takes steroids, but I'm shocked at his stupidity.

Meh...power hitters are not the true hitters in baseball who either strike out or hit a homerun...it is the guys who know how to place the ball correctly.

I say this because thats what I am...the first batter who never usually strikes out and has usually the best OBP on the team.

Nigs better recognize.

that's what I was too. my OBP was at like .600 at one point with BA at .325

I admire people like Ken Griffey and Ichiro for their consistent hitting. They get their hits from good swings and good approaches to an at bat

You mean you admire Griffey's old hitting, when he used to take it to all fields. Now his swing has slowed and he mainly pulls. He used to be the best, now he's only average because of all the damn injuries.

I usually have a much higher OBP than BA and I like that, but being a power hitter gets you on teams faster and is much more respected.

Those people are the ones that get selected to All-District/Region/State/American teams because it stands out more, even though there are now RBIs without baserunners.

I had a dream last night that I was at a Twins game and Rafeal Palmero hit a home run, so I dove a bunch of rows down to get the ball, then ran all the way around the bleachers and threw it at him as he was coming to the dugout, then a lady came and got me and said "Whenever this sort of thing happens we have the fan appologize to the player", so she took me down and I had to say I was sorry, but Rafeal was pissed. It was all over ESPN the next day too. I didnt even know about the steroid thing but for some reason it was rafeal palmero...
I'm not making that up... how could I make that up?
I'm Ron Burgandy?
