Default Help - 09-11-2005, 07:28 PM

How do you make it so that when you computer is starting up you do not get prompted for a password, I do not have a computer and it can be passed by clicking ok...but this is very annoying and i would not like this screen to come up.

Also when I hit ctrl+alt+del my computer locks down how do you make it so it enters the task manager.

if u have administrative access, go to user accounts and click yours, and remove password. now it wont prompt you since there wont be one. as for the ctrl+alt+delete, there should be a window that pops up and give u 6 options i think, shut down, change password, lock computer, cancel, task manager and log off. click the one thats obvious. if you dont get that window, go to windows help for shortcuts and or check microsoft.com for help

to get the 6 options when you hit ctrl+alt+del, go to control panel > user accounts > change the way users log on and off > and unclick use welcome screen. that should fix it all
