Yellow Screen -
09-13-2005, 04:48 PM
I was sitting here then all of a sudden my screen turns yellow. Like it gets this yellow layer over it but I can still see what I'm doing. All I had on my AIM and then it happens.
Anyone have any idea what happened and how do I change it
Like can this happen if my monitor is to old?

It would NOT be the monitor. MONITORS = RGB only red green and blue. It mxes these to form color etc. Yellow = not any of those.

Check to make sure the connection of the monitor is tight, and not loose. That will cause a color overlay if it is loose.

I tried tightening and that did not fix it. Shortly after posting however I had it back for a little.
Could it have anything to do with my monitor being about 2 years old?
How about the fact its always on?
EDIT: I changed desktops and it went back to normal. A few seconds later back to yellow. Few more seconds back to yellow.
