Poll : George Bush -
09-20-2005, 07:43 PM
Keep in mind this isn't about any other President, or Politicians. Just 'Dubya'.
So leave Clinton, Reagan, Nixon, Bush I, Carter, Johnsen, etc out of this debate.
PS: Lets keep it civil, and legitmate.

Easy, you compare what he's done with the state of the country, the economy, social enviroments, and international relations. I don't see why you need to compare with another persons to assess how good of a President he is.

If he were the worst, America would be even more fucked at the moment. He's bad, but I am sure there will be even more worse presidents in the future. When the "USA" dies, that will tell you we have the worst president.

you need to base it off of a standard (ie other presidents).

No, no, you don't understand Coleman, we are supposed to hate President Bush in a vacuum. We can't compare people. We can't have winners and losers. That makes the losers feel bad. This is the same way we should raise our kids! You can't compare a child to another child. That would be unfair. You can't keep score in Mighty Mite soccer games. You might hurt somebody's feelings!
Therefore, being a half-full kinda guy, and considering that I can't compare him to any other President, I have to say that George W. Bush is the best President we have ever had!! I mean, heck, since I have to forget about all the others, then he is the only one. Since we only have one...then he must be the best!!!....and the worst too, I guess....I mean..well, since we only have one for comparison. rolleyes:

Do it just like you do with sports, look at the stats. Spending, progress, pr, income, moral .... you don't need someone else to compare necessarily. I believe what stammer intended was trying to avoid "Well Clinton did it too..." arguements.
I don't think he's the worst, but i think his cabinent is.

I dont think any president at any time has had to deal with what George Bush has had to deal with. He will go down in history as one of the best IMHO
