Default Hugo Chavez thinks were going to invade, thoughts? - 10-20-2005, 12:18 PM

[quote:1cf58]LONDON(AP) Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez believes the United States is planning to invade his country and has evidence to prove it, he said in an interview with British radio broadcast Thursday.

"We have detected with intelligence reports plans of a supposed invasion, one that would never happen. But we have to denounce it," Chavez told British Broadcasting Corp. radio.

Chavez, a frequent Bush administration critic, said he believed the reason the U.S. was plotting was to take control of Venezuela's oil reserves.

"A coup happened in Venezuela that was prepared by the U.S. What do they want? Our oil, as they did in Iraq," Chavez said referring to a failed coup attempt in 2002, which he blames on the United States. The Bush administration denies the allegation.

Chavez, who was interviewed by a BBC reporter in Paris while on an official visit to France, accused Washington of fostering terrorism.

"It is an imperialist government, one that says it fights against terrorism but protects it. The U.S. throws stones to Latin America," Chavez said.[/quote:1cf58]
He denied his country was a threat to the international community

Well, believe it or not Hugo Chavez is related to me by grand parent.

My grandfather was a real horndog ... while married to my grandmother he had 2 mistresses, that he actually married ... so he was married to 3 wifes, and 1 is mother of Hugo Chavez. He left the other 2 and stayed w/ my grandmother cause he had 7 kids w/ her and only 1 w/ the other 2.

rofl

thats fucked up

well, I met him once when he was running for election, he passed by my grandmothers house, well lets say that he was lucky to be running for election, and at the time a man for the people of Venezuela, cause my grandmother would not allowed him in her house ... she would have literally kicked him out. Well, he had dinner w/ all of us and it was funny seeing my grandmother fumming over why he was there.

But yeah, at first Hugo Chavez seemed like a good leader, but that all went down hill w/ the alliances he made. Is like he wanted to join the 'cool' group, or the 'smokers' like when you are in high school ... he does have wacky ideas though ... but ... he's done a lot of good things for the poor ... but ... screwed the wealthy, and oil companies like my cousin who oversaw PDVSA (oil production) he practically removed everyone from power who he thought was corrupt, so my cuz stole a cuple $ mil so what ... lol ... he also is allowing illegal cubans who are in connection to fidel to become citizens and vote, (so he's like a democrat) pist off the Colombians, makes a fool of himself to the US, but poor venezuelians thing he's right ... member of the axis of evil, he has a trial membership at the moment ... he's practically a dictator by now cause he changed the laws to allow presidents to be in power for 6 yrs per term, but there are only 2 terms, which he'll probably change to something else so he can remain in power ... however, he's not that bad ... he hasn't done terrible crimes like Saddam, or other dictators, he has only changed the laws to 'help' the poor ... he got himself a passanger jet, other venezuelin presidents flew in like a small private jet, like corporate ones ...

... well I'm too tired to put all of this in coherent senteces.

Chavez=meh

Yeah, we should invade and place only US economie, not laws and customs cause US customs are pretty gay ... Latin people do know how to party, and have fun ... here you have to worry about getting sued because your child drank himself to death. Or some crap ... even though this country is much safer than Venezuela, you really can't enjoy yourself to the fullest. I don't have to worry about giving a girl anal in venezuela caue it might be illegal in some state.

Remember Salvador Allende? eek: U.S didn't waste a second to get a military dictator in Chile so they could control their interest and a coup occurred, when Augusto Pinochet was in power his favorite means of getting rid of Allende supporters was throwing them out of a plane in the middle of the ocean... oOo:

My favorite quote about this is from Henry Kissinger(one of the dumbest secretary of the states the U.S will ever have) "Just because they elected a stupid Marxist, doesn't mean we have to let them"

CHAVEZ is a fool and anyone who believes the United States is "oppresive" and "limiting" free-speech should go stay a few months down there and see what real tyranny looks like.

As for invading - sorry HUGO - your countries not THAT vital despite your oil.
