Now the brightened lights would help me, since the only time I play games are at night and with the lights off. Sometimes I have to stop and stare down at my keyboard to see what key I am about to hit. Not the typical run/lean/use/etc keys, but another random key that is halfway across the keyboard from my other keys.

and your monitor doesnt provide enough light? My bro had a back lit keyboard that some how was fucking up his comp so he tossed it.

i could actually use a backlit keyboard, i usually fuck up when im playing in the dark, and i dont like playing in a bright ass room

why was it fuckin up the comp tho unkown?

no idea, it worked for about 2 hours then his comp started doing weird things, he unplugged it and put in his old keyboard and his comp worked fine.

i would play COD with that keyboard, but the LCD would be playing some sweet DDR moves. leave it to logitech to come out with stuff like this.
