Default Reformat - 01-07-2006, 05:15 PM

Ok since ive about had enough of my fucking computer and i cannot get past this missing file thing on a reboot, is there anyway to recover mydocuments from my documents folder than reformat or am i already fucked?

Also if i cannot get into the desktop how do i reformat from here, i boot from the CD than what do i do? To i go into set up xp than delete my current C drive and than what? Because my c drive is partitioned into C and E drives. So if i del;ete my c drive is that the same as "reformatting" than i would just repartition my e drive into c drive

Delete c drive and e drive, the drives will then show as 1 lump basically, tell it to format that "lump" and it'll install windows after you format.

Delete c then just format that and windows will install, it should leave e as it is.
