Ok, I reinstalled Xp yesterday and everything was working fine but now whenever I try and play a video in wmp or winamp my computer freezes, but I can play music files fine, wtf is going on?

I'm having a problem with my videos being distorted and discolored. Did you reformat or just reintsall?

Everything is fine, I can play music, thats fine but the second I open a video it locks up and I have to reboot.
