Gamespy for u.k gammers

I had gamespy working perfectly and was palying the MOHAA MP demo fine but i had to restore windows because of a virus so i lost all my hard drive.....so when i saw that gamespy was on the MOHAA c.d's i just though that i would install it from the cd. But shock!! The gamespy keeps crashing to desktop when ever i go to upgrade to 1.8g (or something like that) I've tried unistalling it and reinstalling it but nothing. I reinstalled from different disc still nothing so i can't play MOHAA online...doh

use the "all seeing eye" very easy to use,i on't have the link,but i'm sure someone will post it for you

Gamespy does seem a bit like a microsoft product in that there is way too much functionality which is just begging to be messed up.

A conspiracy theorist would also be troubled by the fact that the uk mp patch which means you can browse 'in game' was originally only available via fileplanet which I believe is the same as gamespy and that unless you wanted to queue for 3 hours you had to pay! Why was this not available from the publishers website?
