Well throughout history Sunni/Shia have been clashing on beliefs of faith.

He lumped Muslims into one of his seven "civilizations." Amartya Sen disagreed with Huntington lumping people into only 7 categories, saying that people were much more complex than that, and this issue shows that the Islamic "civilization" is much too divided and therefore can't be put into one category because the people within that category have different beleifs and values.

I see where you are going with that. I don't know about you, but I personally believe Iran is making a big stepping stone. Trying to link all the arab countries together.

they may try, but it will probably be like in Iraq last time when many Arab countries sided with the US because of the profit they stood to lose if they joined the Iraqi side and damaged their relationship with America and the other coalition countries. In that way, the Persian gulf also showed that money was more important than "civilization identity" when it came to conflict.

Who to believe?! eek:[/quote:75923]What do you think they are going to say? "Oh yeah civil war is going to happen." That would make their operation look bad. Like I said civil war has basically happened since the invasion started..reprisal killings things of that nature.
