i just got cs2......and everytime i tried to make a canvas my color options are gray, black, and white. I tried to change to another color but it doesnt work. When i drag an image into a new canvas the image turns into a black and white image..You guys have any suggestions?

When you create new image does it say Greyscale or RGB?

yeah, your default is on "Grayscale". you need to change that to RGB when you open a new canvas. Or, if you already have the canvas open, you can go to Image > Mode > RGB
