Default Tool concert review - 05-20-2006, 01:38 PM

Saw them last night in NYC and it was a great show. They opened up with "Lost Keys" followed by "Rosetta Stoned". Adam and Justin came on stage 1st to kick it all off followed by Danny wearing a LA Clippers tanktop. Maynard wore boots and jeans with no shirt and a cowboy hat.

I tried to remember all the songs in order but i may have missed one or two.

Lost Keys
Rosetta Stoned
Stinkfist
Sober
Fourty six & 2
Jambi
Schism
Right in two
Lateralus
Vicarious
Aenema

When i 1st listened to the new album, i told my buddy that i thought "Lost Keys" would be the perfect opener for the NY show. Hell, i got lucky.

He took a few pics and recordings but got popped by security. They took him out during "Forty Six & 2" and were gonna take his memory card and batteries and have him sign some stupid form. Outside in the hall my buddy told the guy something and returned a few minutes later with the camera. I have no idea what he said to the guy but he kept all his shit. Anywho, once he sends me some pics, i'll post them here.

To all the people who don't like Tool, thats just fine. It was hard enough to get tickets to this venue without having to fight you for them also.
If you're a "borderline" fan, you really should see them in concert.
