Most of the time the "english" in these manuals looks like its been typed by someone who was trying to learn the language at the time. Or to use a more fitting quote from space cowboys.

In my college books I find a lot of grammatical errors. Small things though like...for example the word Extra, would be typed like Exrat...

Look at it from the company's perspective. Would you rather include instructions in a foreing language, or have that foreigner who can't understand the english directions call you and ask for help in their difficult to understand foreign accent...
