I don't want to say anti-ipod, but yeah I guess it 'counts' as one. This actually is predicted to give apple a run for their money. Something creative really never fully accomplished. The integrated WiFi and other cool features really sticks it out from the ipod.
I'll post more interesting links tomorrow. gonna hit the sack.

The songs you transfer via wi-fi can only be played 3 times by the other person.

that can be easily fixed with a hardware upgrade later on. It WILL have wireless syncing with pc, trust me.
The playing songs is such a good idea though. If another user sends it to you, the file is put into another section in your music library rather than just being mixed with your songs. That way if you really like the song, you can just download it yourself later on.

Not revolutionary enough to ditch the iPod I bought last year for the same price.
I would though if I didnt have a iPod, or if I - yanno - had been living in the portable-music-player stone-age with my Creative Zen™ and needed to upgrade. . . eek:

Looks ok size wise, probably beter off having it be a little bulky in some respects, i know someone with a nano who had the thing snap in half when he sat down with it in his pocket, seems apple's "zomg make it thinner" policy can lead to some problems.

Interface looks....odd to say the least. Not to impressed.
Whats the battery life, screen looks very nice, which usually means low battery life.
Also is this compatible to play ACC files (itunes? if so that would be awesome)

Answered my own questions, gg Best Buy. Sounds pretty leet. Maybe after my iPod takes a nose dive i'll pick one up.

the interface really is appealing to me.
Yeah gerv I know exactly what you mean with the size. I saw it in the store and to be totally honest, it isn't big at all. It just looks "large" because people measure it up to the ipod nano which is way too small in my opinion. I remember talking to my buds a few years back and said, "Jeez, wouldn't it be something to have the players so small that it's only as thick as the headphone jack? Maybe they'll have to redesign the headphone input jack!" Well, that time has come and gone. It just seems way too small for something that you would like to have in your pocket.
I found it also interesting that it importorts all of your itunes tracks into the zune's player (even the ones you didn't buy) while keeping the ratings and such. I think microsoft lets you download the tracks over again that you had from itunes too if you want to convert (if you should run into problems?)
I'm going to see it tonight sometime in action at my bro's.
