Now just remains to be seen if people need to buy a $1000 blu-ray writer drive to make "backups" of downloaded isos. ed:

If true then its good news for people wanting to dload games (ed springs to mind biggrin: ) but bad news for sony as theyre losing like $300 per system and hoping to make some money on software, now if people get big time into pirating their profits will drop further. They'll prolly do psp like updates with certain games coming with newer firmware that has to be installed prior to playing.

The 360 is the best system, but it's not really that good. This is the wrost console generation I've ever seen... The industry has decided to foucs on all the wrong things.

Sony and MS are focused on brute power, nintendo are focusing on interacting with games differently. Back in the days of the atari and the nes\snes the only real change in consoles was the increase in power, this gens not much different so hows it the worst generation you've ever seen when every console is more powerful than its predecessor?

360 was hacked a while back, have to open your 360 and flash the dvd drive firmware though which means you need a sata connection on your mobo free.

Note to Sony: don't hire Linux hackers (as good as they may be) they probably left a trojan horse or 3 in there somewhere. happy:
