Misleading thread title. Theres a reason its called "Homeland Security" and not "Terrorist Busters, USA HQ!". The scope of Homeland covers so many wide areas that its ridiculous to assume that legitimate terrorist threats would make up the majority of the departments cases. To suggest that means its not the "focus" of Homeland is disengenuous and faulty.

This - I dont know what to say to a bullshit claim like this. The majority of charges filed by the police dept. arent probably homocide/gang related - does that mean the shits not going on and thats not the focus of the police dept. - and writing parking tickets is?

I actually agree with you. The title is misleading and I said that exact same thing when I read it.

i think the problem here is not so much that DHS isn't arresting Terrorists, rather that most people think they do, while the scope DHS focuses on is much more broad. This is played down by the government and media alike.
