[quote:a70e3]William,
Further to our previous meeting we should like to invite you for 2nd interview on Tuesday 24 July at 9am again at our premises in *****. This will be made to myself and ***** who is the Company’s Managing Director and my line manager.
For this 2nd interview, we should be grateful if you would prepare a presentation on the following topic "Consider the implications on the construction industry in securing the 2012 Olympics". This may take any form you wish. However, if you would like to make a powerpoint presentation we can provide display equipment for this, if you would also require us to provide a laptop please let me know.
If you wish to arrive slightly ahead of the above time in order to set yourself up please do and ask for me.
If you should require any further information please do not hesitate to contact me. In the meantime I look forward to seeing you again.
Regards
****

I managed to blag & bs my way through to the second interview thingy for the project management job in construction, which I'm quite surprised about since I know sweet f/a about the industry & I majored in History. biggrin:
Unfortunately the date for this 2nd interview is 24th July so it brings no solution to the partying in London, I think the actual job starts in September too so that also sucks.
Anyhoo I need to figure out what to say for that interview, I guess the London Olympics will have a major impact & effect the following:
Transport
Housing (Olympic Villiage)
Stadiums
Industrial Supplies concrete/glass etc
manpower & employment
In other words all aspects of the construction industry will probably increase tenfold due to the demand of rebuilding London & I guess I should look into the construction trades a little more for detail.
I was wondering if you guys knew anything about construction? May as well tell them I got my training at GF1 college before they let me loose & realise they've employed a guy who knows nothing & majored in History. happy:
I realise it may seem a little unsporting asking you guys for advice, but at the end of the day I'm still gana be sat there & one could do the same on google. Any advice from anyone who knows anything about the industry is greatly appreciated! beer:
