So I just saw that movie the other day and it was awesome, a high recomend for anyone. My questions is that are the soccer hooligans really that bad there?

Not so much now because they have new laws regarding keeping the stadiums safe. But yes, back when that took place hooliganism was rampant all over Europe, and in most countries its still like that today. Even worse in places like Serbia, Turkey, Romania....all the gypsy countries lol.

I love the movie though. Really well done.

Yuss fraid so... I remember one time being on the London Underground & heard a bunch of those football/soccer lads singing, quite a strange experience as it drowned the sound of everything else out.

I'm not really a footy fan until the world cup, then I use it as an excuse to dress up as a Crusader, drink copious amounts of alcohol & yell rude things about French people. rock:

Damn I never knew how serious them hooligans were or how dedicated they were to a sport. My understanding though, is that the football firms or whatever you call em, are more like gangs fighting each other over territorial diffrences and such.

My ONE regret in england this summer was that I went at a time during the football off season. All of my friends at school played soccer in high school and are absolutely amazing at the game..Im fucking terrible, but I love to play and Im def. a fan and try to watch as many games as possible. Id love to watch a match live. I LOLed when city beat ManU
