Ok, this might sound like a major Newbe question, perhaps not; anyway seeing how I have a low-end system, as many do, and how some high-end systems even struggle to put out decent frame rates for MOH, I was thinking about doing some tweaking to MOH, perhaps get the FPS running a bit higher. Here’s the story: I can run MOH with all graphic options lowest, resolution at 1024 x 768 at a decent frame rate (25 - 50 FPS), however, as you expect, the game doesn’t show its full potential at those settings. The single most important option, unfortunately the most resource consuming, is the texture detail. Effects and such are great, but the game still wont shine unless it has great textures - and it does, however, with my settings the textures are shabby at best. The scenery textures are fine with these settings, however the player, and weapon skins are quite scruffy. Turning up the texture detail level not only increases the quality of player/weapon skins, but also ups all of the scenery textures too, making the games frame rate drop to around 8 – 16. I am wondering if there is any way to up the texture quality for all the player/weapon skins, but leave the scenery textures on low. This would increase the quality of the game immensely, and the FPS wouldn’t drop too far, as only the player textures are running on high, everything else low.
If I could find a way to do this (or if there is a way already), than this would allow me, as well as other users of low-end machines, to enjoy MOH with good quality graphics, while keeping the FPS playable.

I guess in short what I’m asking is, is there any way to up the quality of the player/weapon textures, while leaving the quality of the scenery textures (everything besides player/weapon textures) on low.

Thanks for any help, or imput.
Oh, and sorry if this issue has been addressed before, I have done a search, but I found nothing relating to this topic.

Once again, thanks for reading my book , and thanks for any help
