Probably my favorite thing about the first MOH was when they had the small movie "Conversational German for the American Soldier". I leaned many of the sayings like- "Ihre papierre bitte"-your papers please. "Der amerikaner hat hunduchugen en der tasche-sp"-the American has dog biscuits in his pocket. This was said when a German and his dog attacked you. There were a couple others but I had the best time saying those sayings out of the blue to the two foreign exchange students. They got a kick out of it. One kid even knew where I got the sayings from.
I say no german translation subtitles, or at least a feature to turn them off. I took german, and only got a C+ the teacher said to try out your german whenever you get a chance. Leaving the subtitles out would force many of us to learn gemran as we played, lol (probably not true). But it would make it more like we were there, and if you knew german then good for you if you didn't then sorry buddy your gonna die.
I think it might be like moh and moh underground. On the undercover missions the enemy speaks english. The enemy speaks german on non-undercover missions.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that that MoH will not be a good tool to learn conversational German...unless your professor is down with you guys yelling alert and danger throughout class.
You guys at 2015 sure put in a lot of speech. Are a bunch of the levels gonna have that much speech in them? Since Powell speaks German will we know what the Germans say when they speak to us, maybe a subtitle? Tell us how the press event went. What did you guys reveal that we can look forward to in upcoming previews? Given the screenshots that we have received, is the compass in the upper left going to contain a health meter. The compass has like 2-3 orange dots on it. What do they mean. If the compass does not contain the health meter, how will we know how much health we have?
