( 1 ). No swearing (To an extreme)

Especially in the thread topic header. There are allowances ofcourse and you
may swear WITHIN the thread but keep that swearing in the posts as little as
possible. It makes the place look untidy and not very inviting. Yeah I do it
myself (sometimes those words just slip) but not to an extreme as some have
done in the past. Swearing is OK, but only in moderataion.

( 2 ). No pornographic pictures or links to pornographic websites.

There are kiddies out there, this is to protect them. This is not a porn site.

( 3 ). I am strongly against the use of derogatory comments. You all know
what I am talking about, and I expect you to all act maturely and
choose your words carefully.

( 4 ). Be considerate of others, act maturely, there are a great deal of people
here who make it there mission to piss people off. I dont like it, and
the Vets around here dont like it either.

( 5 ). Please post topics that are interesting, that will keep people coming
back, keep the topics ON TOPIC.

If you’re a new guy/girl to forums, here’s a crash course on spam.

There's several ways you can spam a forum. Most people just do it to gain post
count and annoy the hell out of people.

a) When you post several times in a row. Anything above 2 posts in a row is
already pushing it. You can easily use the "edit" feature on your post and add
more of what you want to say.

b) Going "off-topic". This means when a thread is talking about a particular
issue and then someone comes up and posts something that is totally irrelevant
and has nothing to do with the issue at hand. (Refer to rule number (5).)

c) When a person makes a topic that makes no sense at all.

d) When someone makes a topic or posts to reach a certain post count.
Ex: joe has 90 posts. He makes a topic and posts spam just to reach 100.
If someone makes a topic like that, it will be closed immediately and that
person will be warned not to do it again, (EDIT:BW.) If you persist you will
be banned, no more warnings.)

( 7 ). Keep your Sigs at a reasonable size, both in dimensions and size in
Kb's. Please be aware there are a number of 56k users out there.

( 8 ). No flaming or insulting.

Don't start flame wars for the sake of starting them. We all have differences
of opinion, some more hardcore than others. I know I get carried away sometimes
myself, I'm trying to curb my temper. Dont push me. As I've said earlier,
I'm sick of derogatory comments, and those pictures with the words "Your gay"
are exactly what I'm talking about. Anyone found keeping this up and continuing
to use them even after these rules are in place will have just 1 warning.

( 9 ). No bashing another persons country.

May seem patriotic to you, but insulting to another. Don't do it.

( 10 ). No racism.

This is something that will not be tolerated AT ALL. You say it, your gone,
no warnings, nothing. Simple as that.

( 11 ). No warez related material.

Pretty simple really, warez = illegal. Can't be said any better than that.
No links to warez sites, no-cd crack sites, or sites that support warez in
anyway.

( 12 ). Before asking a question, try using the forums ‘search feature’ and look
around in recent topics. It’s frustrating to see 3 or 4 topics about the same
issue on the same page. so please, take a look around before asking a question.

These are the Forum rules. To make the new users and those who continue to make a nuisance of themselves aware of what sort of rules are in place here I compiled this edited Rules list. As written above, thanks to Dodd for additions. Please try and abide by them wherever and whenever you can. It will make everyone happy especially us Moderators. Just remember, we (Moderators) have a job to do, to keep the forums flowing smoothly, without these rules it would be a mess, and it was. I can already see a reduction in the cases relating to those stated above. If you have a problem with these Rules, then simply dont post here, because you are not welcome. Just remember, this is not a Democracy, you WILL follow these rules or you will be kicked out, simple as that. If you have any other suggestions, please PM me. I'll consider them and include them in the list.
