Default Major FPS drop on Crossroads (dm/mohdm4) - 08-30-2002, 08:34 AM

I have the following system:

Athlon 1400mhz
512 SDRAM
GeForce4Ti4200 128mb

I run the game at 1240x1024, not all things on high/max. Framerate sometimes drops to under 30, sometimes even under 20 on this map mad: Any idea why? Any suggestions?

Could it be the "Dogmeat Map Fix" that makes it slow down?

Cheers for your help.

Man, count yourself LUCKY! I'm lucky to get 20 fps running at 640x480!

Now, THAT'S terrible performance... cry:

Anyhoo, Crossroads tends to be a bit slow because of the moving water, so I've read.

Classic, that is normal FPS for that map at that resolution. Bring it down to 1024X768, this is plenty good for MOH. Better yet, run Auto-Config in the MOH directory, then go into MOH and change the resolution to 1024X768. This will make all the other settings suitable for your PC.
