I'm trying to run this game on a dedicated machine
winxp pro
p3 450
vodoo3

Tried to read from a zip file models/weapons/bazooka/bazooka.skd that was not open

I installed it several times and even copied an existing install from another system

Anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

Have you upgraded the server with the 1.11 patch? I think a lot of the mods / maps you are using were probably done on machines with the patch installed. That may be it......not sure though.

many of the changes in the patch were on the server side - won't hurt to try it.

wish i could, but the patch won't install
oh well, battlefield 1942 should be out this weekend
