I see someone was watching the ST:NG marathon. biggrin:
I hope there's a limit on ammo for the gun. It's one thing if ppl use the mg42 all the time, but if the ammo doesn't run out I think it will be overly used and abused. Just my $.02... I won't whine about it either way, though. It'll be fun to experiment with the new weapons. evil:

LOL, my BF42 CD was only 12 inches from my keyboard and I never knew it had any info on the EXP. I thought that was a frontline ad.
Let's just hope they keep there word

If its implemented properly it will be cool. As long as it has a limited ammo supply and you have to be static / crouched to use it. I see the guys who are doing the RTCW exp pack are including the same thing

Don't whip out your schlong just yet. A little quote from the EA advert for a game called "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault".
Key Features
...Access to over 21 historically accurate World War II era weapons, including Thompson submachine guns, Mark II Frag Grenades, .50 al mounted machine guns, flame-throwers, and "sticky bombs". Four different stationary weapons that the player can use against the enemy.

EA contacted the Mighty Crow King and asked him for suggestions saw this on TMT site). They asked him for a list of issues, wants, and genereal feedabck on the expansion. Since Crow King was working on a portable MG-42/.30 Cal mod, it was mentioned. Dont count on it though....

There will indeed be a portable machine gun in the expansion (well, nothing in life is certain...).
