Hey guys. Last night I got a little tired of the BS my DSL was giving me and tried my cable to see if it was any better. Well, the lag wasn't as often, but I still get these crazy spikes. So I did a tracert with both connections and found that either way I was hitting some sort of roadblock.

Now, I was thinking maybe there was something on my end that was specifically getting in the way. Does anyone have any tweaks to registry settings to maximize my throughput on my modem? I suppose I aught to learn the whole ethernet thing so I know a little about what I'm doing, eh?
