Ok, I know this has been discussed here before, but I still don’t get it. I just finished a DM game where a poor guy kept complaining about my using the bazooka. Went something like, “ Mother Fucking rockets fucking cheaters!” every time I killed him. I don’t understand this reaction. He wouldn’t respond to my asking him about it. And he finally left the game the last time I killed him. Hell, I didn’t want that!

Are guy’s like this pissed off because they feel they can’t compete with alternate weapons? Does it kill the “realism” for them? What is it? To me it would become a boring game rather quickly if everyone were forced to use say, a Thompson or whatever. Personally I think those who complain along these lines have difficulty adapting to the situation. Hey, if you use a shotgun against me, I’ll back up and kill ya. If you use rocket launcher I’ll run like hell at ya and kill ya. If you use a machine gun, I’ll snipe ya. This is what makes the game fun for me. The variety of it.

Hey, I aint complainin’, I just don’t wanna kill the fun for someone else while still having fun myself, playing the way I like. And I don’t cheat, that kills it for me.

I’m open to some constructive criticizing here, but I’ll just ignore any flame wars.

Steve . . .
