Why EA Games can bite me. -

Okay, so I call up EA Games technical support regarding my problem with Spearhead, where the game just shuts off with no illegal operation or anything, and nothing goes wrong in the console. Well, this is the third phone call now, so I am a bit perturbed:
EA Games: Technical Support
[insert crappy, generic greeting here]
"Yeah, I just called because I've been having problems with the Spearhead expansion for Medal of Honor: Allied Assault. They told me I should call around this time so that I could speak with 'tier 2' tech support..."
"Okay, what seems to be the problem?"
"Oh, are you one of the 'tier 2' people?"
"No, but I might be able to help you."
"That's what the last guy said, and he kept me on the phone until after the 'tier 2' people were gone for the day, and then told me I'd have to speak with 'tier 2' support."
"Oh, well let's go ahead and look at some things here."
"For 'tier 2'?"
"Maybe. First off, what is the problem you're having?"
"My game just closes instantaneously while I'm in the single-player mode. There are no Windows errors and no errors on the console logs."
"Mmhmm. Okay, do you have any modifications installed?"
"Of course. Could I please just speak with the 'tier 2' people? I've been through your handbook twice now. If I go through it again, you guys could hire me without having to train me."
"Okay, so you have modifications installed. Have you tried removing them?"
"Please tell me you're kidding."
"I'm sorry, sir?"
"Can you put me through to the 'tier 2' people?"
"I just need to go through a few steps first."
"Do these people actually exist, or are they mythological creatures?"
"Pardon me, sir?"
"Tier 2?"
"What about them?"
"May I please speak with them?"
"Sir, if you'll just be patient while I -"

EA Games: Customer Service
"Hi, this is Jessica. I'm sorry you had to hold, how may I help you?"
"Yeah, I just got off the phone with your tech support people. I was wondering if you could actually just put me through to the 'tier 2' people in tech support."
"Okay, have you called our technical support line yet?"
[silence]
"Sir?"
"I hate you."
