...choad!
Alright, here's reason # 1,498,201 why AOL sucks. I have been trying to connect to my server that last couple of nights, but have had no luck connecting. I did a trace to my IP last night and found that the last 4 routers going to my server (Located in Kansas City) timed out and some had connections speeds as high as 3000 ms. So naturally I sent the trace to my server provider and he looked into it.
This was the conversation I had with the server provider last night:

The issue in this case is with AOL. We have had an ongoing peering relationship with them based on a connection of 2 OC-12s. We recently upgraded these connections to include 2 OC-48s to accommodate our significant traffic exchange. These connections have been up and running smoothly for 2 weeks now. Overall, we've spent over $100 thousand to create
this robust peering infrastructure.

This week, however, AOL announced a unilateral decision to cut off all our connections. This announcement came as a surprise to all involved and the reasons behind it remain unclear.

We are struggling to make sense of AOL's decision and are working around the clock to try to get it resolved. We want to assure you that we are trying our best to stay on top of this critical issue and give our customers the best service possible.[/quote:38260]
WTF!!!!! Ubelievable.
Not everyone in my clan is having a hard time connecting, but me and couple of other people are (Im in TX and the other guy is in Rochester NY).
Anyways, I justed wanted to pass along this info and to tell you that if you've had problems connecting to a certain server this might be affecting you.
